Well, I loved it. I wouldn't normally do an episode reaction post, but so many of the reactions I'm skimming through right now are sad and hate and picking apart of failures that I feel I need to post some love, if only to make my own flist a happier place.

I think we're in the same boat. The show has personal significance for me, and even though I can separate that from my run of the mill fannish feelings, seeing negativity toward it still stings.

It felt to me that Castiel regressed after he regained his grace, but the way you discussed it; his vulnerability, humanity and God resurrecting Cas out of love wow...just wow....I love that you saw that. I am humbled

I would give you my first born but it's already reserved for Cas, the second born's for Chuck, and I'm keeping the third.

I'll just give you a hug instead!

Assbutt has been one of my favorite insults for years. For a while there it was one of my dog's most common nicknames. To see it used against an archangel gave me warm fuzzies.

I love how it tied everything up with a bow, said, "Yeah, not everybody's gonna like this," and yet managed to be awesome and moving instead of coming off as condescending or fourth wall hammering. <3

I had issues with the episode, but I definitely loved all of the things you highlighted here. The narration and the Impala love=brilliant.
