I've been Netflixing True Blood to watch with sockkiah. The hype I'd heard about it has proven to be pretty true - it's thoroughly entertaining, and I do find every single character engaging (some for reasons unknown - I mean, Jason? He spends 90% of his screen time having embarrassing sexual encounters. WTF ( Read more... )

Take V, look at Blingees. It's Blingees-squared!

*resists sudden urge to make Blingees of Bling from Dark Angel*

And hey, since when are there shows that we don't mock? What is this?

We mock most everything, but mercilessly? C'mon, we show mercy for things like Avatar.

P.S. The other day I saw some craft supplies that had a brand name of "Bling Bling" and I almost shouted "BLING BLING!" right in my office. This is your fault.

Oh, I suppose that's true. The most ruthless I ever was with Avatar was in regard to MY AWESOME APPA AND AANG TOY! 'Cause let's face it Aang, you are a Skydancer.

BLING BLING!

How is this my fault? It is his name. Originally he was going to be named something normal, but I forget what. One of the writers decided it should be Bling though. Idk who that was, but you should blame them for all of your Bling-related office woe.

I'd assumed Bill was a weinie based on stills I've seen of him (he always looks vaguely confused/constipated), but poor dude - of course he's going to lose against Dexter.

Just look at those shoulders! And the hipsssss.

I might need to check the show out. Or maybe just rewatch Dexter.

Everyone loses against Dexter. It's just the circle of life. He's too hot and deadly to be fought.

Can't you do both? (True Blood may be full of weenies, but it's worth a looksee if the premise sounds interesting to you.)

I've had it in my Netflix queue for ages - just moved it up earlier today! Your imagining Bill saying one of my grandpa's favorite dorky lines ("I'm your customer for the evening") was what really sold me XD
