Challenge #90
For our 90th challenge (yay!), we're doing something a little different. There will be three parts to this challenge: community headers, reminder banners, and community icons. You may enter one, two, or all three parts of the challenge. Please see the cut tags for an explanation/guidelines for each part:
Part 1: Community Headers
mashstillness has had the same journal header since 2006! And while it's a great header, it's time for a change. For this part of the challenge, you can make and enter up to three headers. Each header entered must:
-Have the text "mashstillness: an icontest community" (or something to that effect; basically it should identify the community) somewhere on it.
-Contain only image(s) of M*A*S*H, whether that be screencaps, promo shots, actors, set, etc.
-Be still. No animation!
-Be one of the following dimensions: 839x375px, 800x300px, or 695x300px. (This is so the winning header will fit into one of three possible new layouts for the community.)
Colors don't matter - don't worry about making your headers match the current layout. The new layout will be edited to match the winning header! Again, you can enter up to three headers. Submit them in a comment to this post.
Part 2: Reminder Banners
Reminder banners are images I will use in the reminder posts each week. For this part of the challenge, you can make and enter up to three banners. Each banner entered must:
-Have the text "mashstillness reminder" (or something to that effect) somewhere on it.
-Contain only image(s) of M*A*S*H, whether that be screencaps, promo shots, actors, set, etc.
-Be still. No animation!
-Be one of the following dimensions: 300x200px or 200x300px.
Again, you can enter up to three banners. Submit them in a comment to this post.
Part 3: Community Icons
For this part of the challenge, you can make and enter up to three icons. Each icon entered must:
-Have the text "mashstillness" somewhere on it.
-Contain only image(s) of M*A*S*H, whether that be screencaps, promo shots, actors, set, etc.
-Be still. No animation!
-Conform to LJ's icon dimension/size restrictions (100x100 or less, 40kb or less).
Again, you can enter up to three icons. Submit them in a comment to this post.
Here's a list of places you can find M*A*S*H screencaps to use...And you can certainly use your own, too.
