The question of Jesus' existence is historical fact. The immaculate conception? Well....did you know the Roman Catholic Church just "elevated officially" the "virgin" Mary as having been born of immaculate conception herself? Their reasoning? Because such a good and wonderous person could not have been concieved otherwise. That is how this stuff gets started.

Jesus existence is well documented. Maybe he was of God. But the real question is what his words were before the translators, scribes, editors, Council of Nicea, Iranaeous, and Constantine got to them.

I am very inclined to believe documents that have been buried for 1800 years over ones that have been edited to suit.
