Felek is the... dammit, English is failing me at this hour ...short-form of Feliks, not Fełek. That sounds like a lisp, lol.
Also, Alek, Rudy and Zośka? Has someone been reading Kamienie na Szaniec? :)
Oh, and then "Za wolność Naszą i Waszą"... heck, maybe you left out the diacritics on purpose, since you used them earlier. I don't know, sorry, I probably shouldn't be commenting this late at night. orz

If you don't mind my asking, what is the diference between writing "l" and "ł"? I'm a blank page when it comes to this complex language although I find it beautiful.;;
And holy crud, it's a short form? o_0 Oh.
"Kamienie na Szaniec"... oh I wish. *sigh* Don't think there's an English version floating around, is there? V_V

The letter ł? No problem! It's a completely separate letter from "l" and it makes the same sound as English "w" like "water". People are always surprised that the "w" sound is written similar to l, but it is actually related... you know how a little kid might say "I would wike a widdle bit"? QED.
Oh, and the better comment will come! It's just that last night I was way too sleepy to write anything comprehensible. ^^;

Gah... I really appreciate all those corrections. Definitely! Thank you! But, man... Polish sure is complicated for a poor mortal like myself. Woah.
One last question though... what's the difference between writing Feliks or Felix? Are both correct or is only one used in the Polish language? >_>;; That's something that has been bothering me for a while.

After I read about Alek, Rudy, and Zośka I became fascinated with their bravery and started reading more about the Polish Underground State and Armia Krajowa. I wished to portray the complexity of the times and how the world can be appreciated by different persons in so many different ways, how nothing can be simply labeled as one thing or the other which, clearly, was one of the main problems that led to that blasted war.
The Resistance was truly remarkable!
