Author's Notes:

Well... here's a special little something I've been working on for a few days now, on every spare moment I can find.

This piece has a special significance for me as it is my own interpretation of how I would feel if I ever were to be in the presence of Jesus or God: the meeting of the mortal and the divine, the lamb and the shepherd ( Read more... )

book : prince caspian, character : caspian the seafarer, aslan's country, story : till kingdom come, chronicles of narnia

HOMG. I think.... I think... Actually I know that that was the best... + Nurse story I've read like... ever. I absolutely loved them both. Loved his dreams, in the most childlike and eager way. Loved the nurse who seems delightful in her old age, but I get the feel that she's not so... fantastic when it comes to the Narnia tales. She's well aware of the Telmarine life.

I'm a lot more fascinating with the idea of Aslan visiting her in her dreams. It's just... yay. It's a brilliant way to connect to Caspian through his nurse.

Favorite part has to be the little introspect when it came to Caspian hearing about Aslan and how he marvelled. That was truly beautifully written. Although I am bias, I want to know what your take is on how he would react to hearing of Susan. :D:D:D

Seriously. Amazing little piece. Makes me extremely curious about Till Kingdom Come.

LIEK WOAH. Late reply is late! Urgh... sorry 'bout that.

You've no idea how much I love your comments, hun.

Oh thank you <3. I only know I've never read any fics of Caspian and his Nurse which, in my opinion was an extremely important event in our dear prince's life. And I'm glad they both came out all right and (hopefully) believable. And on the Nurse, I suppose she served as his motherly figure and at the same time as the friendly care-taker in whom Caspian could always hope to talk freely with ( ... )

I've never been a huge religious person in the sense that I have one basic faith. A whole myriad of religions interest me and Christianity is such an complex religion.

Sacrilege? Lol, I'm always so afraid to write Aslan, because he's almost so untouchable. How do I get into the mind of JESUS? It's just.... I've only ever written Aslan successfully once and that was at the very end of Sleeping, Sleeping and he only says one thing.

Can't wait for the fic! =]

It is, it is a very complicated religion, but really, which one isn't? I've taken to read Lewis' thoughts on Christianity as he was in the same situation as I am: a believer turned atheist turned believer again (let us blame Tolkien here on Lewis' case and Lewis on mine :p) to see if I can learn more and enrich my views from his. Of course it's just TOO much sometimes o_0. I have the view that I can have religion as a basis for designing my views and morals but not have live my life as if following guidelines or not to let religion (or the interpretations of others) affect my lifestyle. Myabe that way I can find a point in common with atheists or practitioners of other religions and learn tolerance so ad to avoid pointless conflicts which won't be resolved easily or fast or ever :/. But yes, there are very interesting points in other religions which, because of my faith, I won't set them aside or insult them without first knowing about them... tsk tsk ( ... )
