Every time I feel my stomach drop over this, I feel it drop even further over the 'serious' brownface acts, like Adam Sandler's Zohan or Angelina fuckin' Jolie's Marianne Pearl (excuse me while I go throw up at Angelina Jolie's Fox in wanted, as well.). I can't even watch those movies, simply because of the audacity required that these were the best actors for these parts. I also think about the twilight movie communities who feel like Jacob (who is Native American, supposedly, I've never read the books) should have been a hot white guy put in brownface instead of going for authentic casting, whatever that's supposed to mean.
