Multi-chapter (recommendation) list

Aug 23, 2014 19:28

My multi-chapter recommendation list. After making a one-shot list, I decided to make another one for multi-chapters. It's for me to remember and for eventual future reference (but also for lost souls that somehow get here looking for some fics to read). Again, most of them are NC-17 (I think) so I apologize innocent people ( Read more... )

Wow, that's a lot of fics. I've read some of them but not most of them. I think I'm going to bookmark your post and check some of those out (^_^) I mean, I have a couple I'm following as they're posted right now (withchann's Red West for example) but I really need something new to read soon so this is going to be really helpful to me (^_^) Thanks (^_^)

PS thanks for the mention , also. I'm glad you liked my fics enough to include them here with so many great works.

True. But if they keep writing, they'll get better. I've seen it where the first few chapters of a fic are a bit difficult to read but by the end of the fic it's much better.

If I ever tried to write in another language I think I'd probably try to find a beta who speaks it as a native language. But the only language I'm studying is Japanese and I don't have the confidence to try LOL. That might have something to do with not studying in months though...

Just curious but where are you? I'm in America. (^_^)

True, though some people never change :D But that's none of my business, haha xD

That's a good idea. Though in my case I should be able to help with that as well, considering that I'm a student of English (language and literature, lol!) ^_^ I only speak my mother tongue and English ;) I'm learning Swedish now and I was attending Spanish classes for maybe a year or so :D I want to learn Japanese <3

America... lucky~ it's easier to get stuff in America xD like I'm from Poland and when I want to buy something online (ebay etc) and it's from America they usually don't ship to my country :/

If you want to learn Japanese, I really recommend http://www.textfugu.com/ though it's not free. Well, like the first chapter of it is so that you can check it out but after that it costs money. Out of all the sources I tried, that's really been the most helpful ( ... )

Sorry for my late response! I only noticed your comment now it was tagged as a spam for some reason - probably because of the link, hahaI might check it out. I have some books but it's always hard to learn alone, there's no one to motivate you and force you to study. Really hard ( ... )

I figured it was because it was so many replies in such a small amount of time LOL. That or you got tired of chatting (but I doubt that was it because I believe if you were tired of chatting you'd have said so. I hope. It wouldn't offend me because I'm unoffendable LOL ( ... )

Okay, that makes more sense. You said you were studying lit and then mentioned biology experiments and my mind flaked at connecting the two. I haven't read either of those. Are they good?

I don't know when I'll have any more KAT-TUN posters LOL. Maybe the next concert DVD will have one. I don't get to buy a lot so when I do buy I like to get the limited edition first press (^_^)

Yeah, don't really have much interest in learning Russian either, to be honest.

I'm glad I managed to clear your doubts :D Yeah, it can be confusing though I've already written a paper like that for one of my classes so I know it's a fun thing to write.
I don't know if they are good tbh - I still haven't read them yet O_o

I can't really afford KAT-TUN DVDs though I'd like to buy the next one (meaning 'Come Here' I guess).

My friend wants to learn Russian too. She's looking for a native speaker to teach her.

I don't know if I still have the program on my laptop (it's not on my desktop computer because I didn't think to save it when I restored my computer to factory settings) but if I do I can rip it and put it on mediafire so you can download and watch it. Buying it is the best but if you can't afford it then at least you'll be able to see it. The .iso is usually between 6-9 GB per disk but I can use handbrake to turn it to an .mkv which will be reduced quality but only like 2GB or so per disk.

You're so generous! Fortunately I managed to somehow collect every concert DVD that's been released till now. I hope I'll earn some money before they release their future stuff. But if I not, I'll definitely write to you then ;)

So far I only have two of KAT-TUN's concert DVDs so I had to download the rest. But I've been saving up since the countdown one for *insert next KAT-TUN concert DVD* so I will probably get it. I hope.

I only have two of KAT-TUN CDs and I feel bad about this fact. I need money for their future stuff - time to find a job. I have some ideas, we'll see how it goes.

I don't have any of their CDs. Just two concerts. Before KAT-TUN was my favorite band, AAA was and I bought their 5th anniversary concert. Before that, it was Morning Musume and Hello!Project so I also have three momusu concerts and a H!P one plus a box set which has three H!P ones. That's all I've been able to afford since 2005. I buy concerts because really they're more content for the money you spend.

Which two CDs do you have?

Good luck with the job search! I don't know how things are where you live but I know here it's really hard to get a job these days.

My job is housewife. Doesn't pay much but comes with room and board and free sex (did I say that out loud?) LOL. And I doubt I'll get fired even with the economy sucking. I have the hubby totally spoiled. I even put his work clothes out for him before I go to bed. (^_^)v

That sounds like nice collection. I always thought that I don't need DVDs because I wouldn't understand what they're saying in the MC either way so it's better to wait for someone to upload it (preferably together with subtitles xD). I have N.M.P. (got it from a friend for my birthday) and come Here (bought it myself). I have an opportunity to work as a translator PLUS I can always be a tutor - teach other people English (I can do that, really! I'm good at it... I know I'm not perfect but definitely better than some people :-D). Being a housewife sounds nice xD Maybe I should consider that too... ;-)

Well, I'm trying to learn Japanese. I'm getting better at understanding the MCs but still not great.

Tutoring sounds awesome. I've wanted to start a math tutoring business but unfortunately we only have the one car and we live so far away from everything that I can't walk there. So I've held onto the dream, hoping some time in the future I'll be able to do this. I helped my dad a bit when he went back to school and I helped the girls at work study when I was at university plus I just sincerely love the math. Except for basic math, statistics, and infinite sums. Everything else is great though.

Your english is really good, that's for sure. I think you'll do great as a translator (^_^)
