This is my way of inspiring myself to do homework so I can write later. It made much more sense like a minute ago.

The ones where:

-Sam is dying and Cas can't deal with it
-Dean and Sam watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer with commentary
-Jess finds out a little about Sam's family.

All Cas can think is This isn't supposed to happen I'm supposed to be able to save him what kind of excuse for an angel or friend am I if I can't even save him?

Sam is looking at him, holding out his hand, and it bring Castiel back to the first time they met; the awe in the eyes of the boy with the demon blood, the way the abomination's eyes shined with hope, and clearest of all the way that light died so quickly.

Castiel finds that he can't take Sam's hand; it feels far too final, and Castiel refuses to let this be the last time he sees Sam Winchester alive.

Glad you like! The Buffy one will probably show up at some point. Mostly because I have this weird-ish headcanon that Dean would LOVE SPIKE. Which could be a litle ridiculous =P
