Nice to see the Batgirls here too! I'm a bit worried about what's happened to their finances, though. Is Mycroft cutting corners, or have they been splurging?

I don't think the squeeze on the finances is Anthea or Ella's fault. MI5's pay isn't actually that good - only about 10% above normal civil service rates, so I believe. And I suspect that Mycroft may be having to cut down on expenses, due to budget cuts. Though he may now have found a sneaky way to boost their budget again (as my next fic will indirectly explain).

this still makes me cackle very happily, especially Anthea's spotted Mycroft's pet policeman in the audience, so the director might yet get arrested for crimes against taste.
