Yes, but I'm not sure if it's in place in every school. I know that at my school, it's a required part of health class for about a week. I know that in child psychology courses offered in my are also use a baby thing to teach students.

What really kills me is that this chick has apparently graduated from high school, but she still seems to have no idea how it works. Because, seriously, it seems that every high school AU has crappy projects like this or being tied together, and they never make any sense.
