OMG, just read the first James/Triss slash fic! ROTFLMAO!!! I already thought of writing one ages ago, so glad I'm not the only sicko out there :) Made two new icons in honor to that, both "ACGAS". Gotta watch some eppies tomorrow
( Read more... )
you know, slash is everywhere you wanna see it :) and the nice thing is: you are never alone with your opinion. *eg*
that reminds me that i wanted to read the two "Pirate Dreams" novels again. gosh, i adore those stories. i so hope she writes a third one, she surely mentioned she might just do that.
and i still think our movie idea for Rupert and Colin and Hugh is a good one. i wanna see that movie, damn ;)
*lol* Yes... Aww, I love my Triss :) And my James :) And my Siegfried :) I hope I'll get to watch the second eppy this afternoon, it's the first one with Triss. And I love how Siegfried introduces him "He looks like me, except that he's a fresh faced kid. Looks like a seduced choirboy."
depends on what kind of slash. Someone mentioned Gollum/Jar Jar Binks the other day, and seriously, that is just something i don't even want to *think* about!
i could ask the same thing about non-slash? what is the appeal of that? the same as slash for me. if it's a good story i like it, i don't care if a woman and a man are in love or a man and a man are in love. and so far i have found much more well written slash stories than non-slash stories. and yeah, as Mary has said, it is sweet :)
I don't know... I've always had a thing for homosexual men, even as a little girl (maybe it's their way of behaviour), and every homosexual person I've ever met has been so very, very sweet & nice. In fanfic, I also like female/male pairings, I'm not only going for slash - that depends on the persons. Like Triss/James, Holmes/Watson... Others I cannot see together. It's like with every other "normal" pairing. But sometimes I find slash a bit more romantic - it's more angsty. And if it's smut - well, the thought of two good looking men having fun together isn't exactly repulsive to me ;)
hehe, that is quite true :) i don't know, these men together have often just so much more chemistry than any other man/woman pairing i see. that is what i mean with "i've seen much more well written slash fiction than non-slash fiction". and yeah, i always had a thing for homosexual men as well. i also enjoy guy/guy friendship stories very much. they just have something. i love to read Aragorn/Legolas friendship stories as i don't see anything between them although i read some slash stories with them, too, as there are writers out there who write it so incredible well.
but my fave pairing will always be Jack and Will! i mean, Jack is definitely at least a bisexual pirate. *eg* and between Jack and Will there is so much more chemistry in the movie than between any other characters. including Elizabeth and Will (although i like them) fanfiction about them are just so incredible boring. *shrugs* and i find it so beautifully ironic that the slashiest movie ever is a Disney movie. *snorts*
