I did it! I was worried after the three hour meeting and the two hour lunch but traffic was with me and I can cross another MAC store off my list.

Google Now tries to be so darn helpful with its cards and proactive searches. Why can't it figure out that I search for MAC stores in every city I go to and include them on the Nearby Places card ( Read more... ) -

There is one MAC store in Houston. The other is a counter. If they don't want to spend a lot of time talking after the meeting, I should be able to get there. -

I'm heading down to Houston this afternoon. I come back tomorrow night. I've got packing to do and slides to make and I'm not doing either.
I did check for any new MAC stores in Houston. There might be two of them I haven't hit. Yes, I'm still on a mission to hit every MAC store in the continental US (counters still don't count).

Stephanie and I went to see Young Adult today. Good movie. Didn't even mind Patton Oswalt. Charlize Theron was very good. Surprisingly good. She played a woman all screwed up with issues.
At one point, she complained that no one loved her and Patton's character replied "Guys like me were born loving women like you."
Man, that hit close to home.
