So I went to bed early ... and at 10:30 pm, Alberto calls to let me know that Wilson will be here at 5:30 am to finish the prep for the concrete that will be delivered later in the morning

For some reason, the name Wilson always reminds me of poor Tom Hanks hollering "WILSON!" after a soccer ball in the middle of the ocean.

trust me, it is probably the sleep deprivation that is making it funny ... I wish you could be here too. But hey, that is why I am taking pics .. to give everyone the virtual tour!

Squeak is now sleeping on the clean slipcovers ... I think I had better leave her alone ... she is putting up with a lot of noise ... and I can always wash them again ... sigh...

I sympathize with your homeowner plight.

My partner and I recently only had a ceramic tile floor laid in our kitchen. I couldn't believe how badly the project upset the balance in our home. It was hard living without a refrigerator, stove and kitchen sink for a whole week. But the new floor was totally worth it.

I'm sure you'll love your new and improved house (especially the wiring)so much that you will forget about all of the sleep deprivation noise!

We've been wanting to rewire our house, but I know the electricians will probably rape our plaster walls in the process. What a brave woman you are.
