Today is our anniversary. Five years, plus the several that we knew each other beforehand. It's nice to be known; it's nice to be loved. It's nice to feel stability and peace in your relationship. Each year we celebrate it on the same day... ;-)
You were in the middle of many other pressing concerns this year. That's why I didn't mention it!

Happy Anniversary!!! I think that anniversary is a wonderful reminder that the markers in our lives are important, that our relationships deserve celebration, and that we deserve to take time off!!!

I am well, thanks for asking! I'm back in the Texas heat after being sunny and cool in Seattle for most of the summer, but excited to start my second year and glad to be back amongst good friends.

I've been watching the Olympics regularly, and I'm amazed at the athletes' dedication to their craft. I seem to work pretty hard most of the time, but rarely VERY hard... It's something I'll have to work on in my second year here..

How about you?
