Borders?

Do any of y'all know if there are any Borders stores still open in Maryland? Their search function isn't working for me. The closer to BWI, the better.

Thanks!

I believe all of the Borders stores were liquidated.

IDK why your comment was screened, but anyway!

Yeah, I heard they were, but I didn't know if they were all closed by now or if there were still a handful still hanging around. Guess I'll check. :) Thanks for all the information!

And haha, yeah... well, I'm not a Marylander. Florida, born 'n' raised, now "displaced". ;)

I was at Annapolis Mall (In Anne Arundel county) this past weekend and the store was still open with a 30-50% off everything sale going on. Not sure how much longer it will stay open though. 80% of the dvds were gone, but it was amusing how many copies of Eclipse and Inception they still had in stock (for 30% off).

I figured that'd be the case; I'm looking for a couple books that I'm almost certain will be there, so I'll have to check. Thanks! :)

I think they're all still open. It's too early in the going out of business process. They've only started to get to their second round of marking stuff down from 25% to greater percentages even.

I don't know if the Columbia one or Annapolis mall one would be closer to BWI. Probably about the same really.
