( Ehrlich warned that Marylands ongoing, one-party, tax n spend culture would result in more spending fueled by more taxes. Sure enough, the budget emerging from Annapolis increases this year's spending by 10.6 percent ($1.4 billion) while leaving next years projected spending $1 billion beyond projected revenues )

This kind of political posting is precisely why I left dc_metro.

Perhaps you ought to create a dc_politics and/or maryland_politics community and go there instead.

Agreed. This is the same person who's driving people out of the moco_md community as well.

Putting up simplified, extreme versions of political issues that will never get solved to everyone's satisfaction in a general community is not the way to win friends.
