I've done 22,068 words, almost exactly 1/3 of the projected novel. That 1,140 words today. It's NaNoWriMo and if I can let that talk me into sustaining the pace, I'll be able to finish it as I hoped. Interestingly enough, I felt really grim when I sat down, but writing seems to have made me feel a bit better. At least I don't feel a total

Which I couldn't figure out how to change and ran out of compulsion to do so quite quickly. So I deleted it. Apparently he's taken down the calculator part because it's NaNoWriMo and everyone wants to use it...

Well, I'm impressed. I could never keep up the NaNo pace.

Do you think you'll go back to the desert this winter and write? It seemed to do you so much good.
