I have a friend who saw the movie last year. It was part of a sneak preview. Several theatres has this across the country. Nobody knew what the film would be! LOL..Yeah she liked it.
Actually, she said it was almost totally different. They ripped out the H/G romance from the book and gavie it to Ron & Lavender. In the film, Harry is interested in Ginny....that's all. They don't date. They never break up, because they were never together. Theres a little kiss toward the end in the Room of the Requirement, but the sunlit days kiss was all Ron & Lavender. Very little of Ginny playing Quidditch. Hermoine gets more action with Harry then Ginny (which is funny) She thinks its because the chemistry between Dan & Bonnie was not so good. Watson & Radcliffe are great together. That's the only reason the films are like that

Very different from the book, though

Yea, telling me it's different from the book is like telling me the sky is blue. It's to be expected, sadly.

I'm excited, but not like I used to be. I'm so disappointed by the WB and book 7 just kind of broke my heart.

I think I'll always be excited for Harry Potter, but as is to be epected I have mellowed out, as I've grown older. It's a normal course of life.

I get far too emotionally invested in things, and Remus and Tonks 'sleeping' on the table in the Great Hall killed me. I lost it.
I thought the story itself was pretty mediocre and felt really cheated and disappointed by how JK set things up and then didn't follow through.
I'm old and I didn't mellow out til book seven, then I found Twilight and it ramped up all over again and probably got worse!
