LOL. Well, I don't know much about Spring Awakening, but that was pretty funny!

The play itself isn't very humorous... it deals with abortion, rape, etc etc, but it's got some comic relief in there. I think I know every song by heart, and I'm still not sick of it!

I had heard about Spring Awakening from my drama proffesor (he goes to Broadway every year so that we are all updated) but he only mentioned the "hand Jive" beginning of the play as we were at that time too focused on Tarzan the musical to care.

I know Tarzan the musical wasn't THAT great, but we adapted it and performed it at school (catholic school for that matter, so you see why spring awakening was out of the picture). And I was Kala, Tarzan's gorila mother. But thank goodness I didn't sing, we just had some play back and recited instead.
