I've never seen Mary on the big screen, so I definitely want to see this one, though I'm not sure when I'll get to yet. I've also never seen a scream movie (I'm kind of a wuss), so I'm really just braving it for the love of MM!
I'll be going friday after work to see it. The last movie in theaters I saw Mary in was Independence Day, so I'm pretty excited for this! None of my friends around here are Mary fans, so I'll be going alone. There are some Scream fans among them, but I don't want to be caught squeeing or hiding my eyes during any scary parts. I'm not a big horror movie person, although I remember liking the original Scream.
I haven't seen the first three films, they never particularly appealed to me, although I don't have a problem with horror. I am however very interested in seeing Scream 4 because of Mary's participation which, given the number of costumes, seems likely to be fairly significant. Unfortunately a trip to the cinema is unlikely for me so I will probably have to wait for the DVD. I will be hoping for pictures and information about Mary's role to keep me going until then.
Issue #52 of SciFi Now in the UK has an interview with Wes Craven in which he talks about Scream 4 and there are a few pictures. One with Mary and Neve Campbell trying to push the front door closed on the scary killer (an image from a trailer someone posted here a while ago if I remember rightly) appears twice in the magazine - once on the contents page and again in the article. I'm afraid the interview isn't on the mags website and I don't have the means to upload it here but maybe someone else can help with that.
