It's my anniversary and I'm still recuperating

So, I'm celebrating in slow motion. Tried riding with Chuck to Winston-Salem, yesterday, and it wore me out. We did stop at Michael's on the way past and I got some little mirrors for a craft project to keep me occupied today. It worked but I need more wire, now. Everybody I know may end up with a little tree bauble to catch the moonlight ( Read more... )

Just don't push yourself. Bodies take time to recuperate from even the simplest bit of surgery. I love taking coals to Newcastle!!!

Doing my best. Not the nature of the beast, though.

Which makes it even harder, I know. Bestest wishes for a full and speedy return to your perky self.

Oh dear ~ I didn't realize you had surgery. Appendicitis does cause a sudden 'change in plans' to any routine. Hope you heal well.

Happy Anniversary and enjoy your celebration!

I'm healing surprisingly easily. I woke up Tuesday feeling yucky and by midnight had a missing part. It all flowed into what needed to happen and I'm getting well.

Thanks for the well wishes. :-)

When you mentioned riding to Winston-Salem, I assumed you meant by bicycle. Glad that the appendectomy went well.

I have never gotten up to riding that far on my bike and cold weather has lost my bike legs. We're going to have to start that training all over again. that makes me a little sad, but it is what it is. I'm looking forward to May when we'll have time to get back out on the ATT. All of April is too busy.
