Fred Weller and his castmates (including Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, and Jenifer Lewis) from the 2006 production of Brecht's Mother Courage and Her Children for Shakespeare in the Park staged a benefit concert, Courage in Concert, for the American Jewish World Service and Partners in Health at the Public Theater in New York last night.

It amuses me a lot. That's all. (also, my music compatibility with her is apparently high, though one of the bands we have in common i've never even heard of. awesome. (oh never mind, guitar hero playlist.))

You, too, can be News Boss. I have google alerts for Fred Weller and Mary McCormack and I post anything that seems sort of interesting. Or interesting to me, at least. It makes me laugh when it dredges up my own posts from the community as a hit.

I also have a google alert for "In Plain Sight, USA" but frighteningly it mostly turns up a lot of conspiracy theory blogs and militia-related propaganda. It's creepy.

like I need any more notifications, especially on days like today. 100+ emails every Tuesday will be a bad plan once I get back to actually doing things.

Yeah I'm pretty afraid of googling the wrong thing. (however, "cat" and "something great" keep turning up the same thing and I'm enjoying it a lot.) However, conspiracy theories! That's a GREAT topic for next week! Also, gives me an excuse to wander around looking for good ones. (ooh, i have that hour-long video about 9/11 conspiracies that i never watched, maybe i'll do that tonight since i can't shoop...)

make sure you check out the moon landing conspiracy. Its my current favourite. . . especially since they recently found out a "moon rock" in some european museum was actually petrified wood from earth meaning the "moonlanding is a pack of lies" people have something new to hold on to.
