I was helping Alice practise her lines for the second from play this evening. Alice is playing the part of Lysander and I was reading Hermia. We were rehersing the part in 1:1 where Lysander and Hermia speak of their love and make their plans to run away. I was just giving the speech where Hermia swears to meet her lover the next day

Oh, Mary-Lou, I'm awfully sorry Daphne got all worked up, but I'm sure she'll be all right if you explain what you were really up to!

Do you think, when you've reassured poor Daphne, you might let me spy on a rehearsal or two? I just know Irene would enjoy seeing you and your new friend at your new pursuit. I might even take a bit of artistic license and draw in some rather romantic costumes!
