Here is a link to a quick and dirty video I made today - something that happened this morning. Unfortunately, I was so rattled that I didn't get very good footage - had to move my car. We had a spectacular view of the flames shooting from this poor fellow's car from the library. No idea what can have caused the fire. No one was hurt and only the ( Read more... )

Yes - that's the main thing. When the car was actually burning, I was scared it would explode and set many others on fire. We were all lucky, though I feel sorry for the owner.

It's basically apparently a public service announcement come to life: this guy had a new car, started smoking inside of it, and managed to set it on fire.

DON'T SMOKE CHILDREN!

Oh my gosh! You have got to be kidding! This poor guy set his own car on fire with a CIGARETTE!?

This makes me gladder than ever that I don't smoke.

This is what my mother tells me. It's all kinda horrifically impressive in a sort of "Wow, you are kinda bad at life, aren't you?"
