The dragons of Sekkess: a tourist brochure

I went to the Unicorn Writer’s conference on Saturday and had a lot of fun. One excellent class was given by Paul Witcover. He asked us to write a tourist brochure for an imaginary setting, and this is what I came up with.

This is charming -- and what a fun assignment!

The picture immediately caught my eye because it's similar to some of the photos I used when I was compiling notes for Lizard Wind, which features tribes of people who keep giant lizards. :)

Oh, wow, that sounds interesting! the short story I'm working on now takes place partly on Sekkess. I hope to have the first draft finished in the next day or so, if all goes well.
