"Where the Wild Things Are" is my favorite book ever. I was really pumped for the movie but it left me disappointed. It started out really good but half an hour in I was already bored.

Didn't know Lukas Moodyson had a new movie. Have to watch it.

Hated Jennifer's Body, BUT! I think it could be a marvelous stage musical like Little Shop of Horror or Reefer Madness. It's perfect for an off-Broadway adaptation!

I wanted to see The Big Bad Swim, now even more than before.

I watched "TiMER" and "Mr. Nobody" with my boyfriend this weekend and we had quite different opinions about them - they aren't on your soon-to-watch list by any chance?

So, the book is good as well? I have to read it if I end up buying it for my godson, you know, before giving it to him :) I've heard it's like 9 sentences long, so it will be a small feat :D Anyhow, I enjoyed the film very much. I thought it very touching and clever, I dare say. Come to think of it, I'm not sure a kid would get all the parallels :/

I don't think I've seen anything else by him. Not sure 'though. I'd have to IMDb him for certainty. Any good recs? And you should definitely check Mammoth and, of course, tell me what you think of it.

Yeah, I guess its campy side could work on stage. It did not on film, to me at least (nor to you, apparently):)

Do that. You won't regret it. My friend's technique definitely worked there :D

Mr. Nobody actually *is* on my to-do list. I was going to watch the weekend before this last one, but wound up not, for some reason or other. Perhaps I'll bump it to first place on my list so we can discuss it. I'll see if I manage to watch it by this weekend. Either way, I'll let you know once I take ( ... )

It's only been two days so I'm still not sure how much I liked Mr. Nobody but I definitely liked it more than my boyfriend. I will have formed an opinion by the time you have watched it.

Moodyson's first three pictures - Fucking Amal, Together! and Lilja 4ever are all worth a watch. I love Fucking Amal (or "Show me Love" how it's often called).

I worked nine months in a kindergarden once and there was nothing better than reading Where The Wild Things Are to the children. It's one of my favorite memories.

Ok.

I shall look those up later. And I'll start with Fucking Amal since it's your favourite and the title is... hmm... interesting. I let you know once I catch it/them :)

Worked with kindergarden kids?! You're a brave one *lol* My godson alone is more than enough to completely wear me out :D Thanks so much for the file you sent me! I'm downloading it as I type this ;)
