Is it really? I don't know... I just keep picturing this scenario in which I would keep nagging Damien about his fags, and that he absolutely had to quit. He would wind up doing, you know, to please his dear lover (and to stop the nagging), but then he would miss them and in the blink of an eye he would shift to resent me for, like, killing his buzz, his fun, his joie de vivre (you know these artsy types). Then he would, ultimately, get back to the fags behind my back, and I would be paranoidly running around smelling his shirts, giving him the third degree about whether he really quit them, 'cause you know, I can smell the bloody thing in your clothes, and sometimes when we kiss the mints just don't do their job well 'cause I still can taste the fags... Long story "short", he would start sleaping around with groupies because I would have become such a nagger, no matter how perfect our relationship once was. Not a pleasant scenario, is it? *lol* God, I have waaay too much time in my hands right now :D

LMAO!!! thought of this a bit, have we?

lol, breaking his driving leg and keeping anyone from bringing him fags while he recovers sorta works. then he goes back to them for a bit. but then the absense makes him realize what disgusting things they are and then e quits of his own volition :)

Oh, this plan sounds a bit like Kathy Bates's in Misery, don't you think? *lol* Regardless, it might just do the trick :D But I'm sure, in the end, despite any usage of cruel (or not) tactics, Damien would realize it's indeed a nasty habit. Otherwise, I would simply be forced to leave him! Who am I kidding?! Damo recognizes an empty threat when he sees one :]
