I love the link between vodka, that being the only drink she gets drunk on, and the past. I love the whole thing though really, lyrical but with bite and that last line, ouch. And Clint just listening and making sure she drinks water :)

Thank you so much for this! It's still in a lot of ways my favourite Natasha-ficlet, mostly due to the style, so I'm very pleased it worked.

The last line, I think, is ultimately hopeful...but she's not seeing it like that, alas.

And Clint's a good friend! Listen, and ply the woman with water to try and counter her hangover.
