I've actually been looking for a reason to do more icons, but I'm not entirely clear on the concept of a 20by20. Is it 20 icons made in 20 days, or what? And what kind of basis would a participant be creating their icons upon?

Yup, it's 20 icons in 20 days, so for this one, I'd post the themes on the 10th and we'd run to the 30th, which is when voting would go up. For your icons, there's ten individual themes, a set of five category icons that share a unified theme, and then an artist's choice category where you basically make whatever you want. There's one winner for each individual theme, and then there's a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner for the category and artist's choice icons.

It's a lot of fun and a great way to get challenged to make an entire batch of icons!

And thanks for the explanation. :-) This, along with the other comms I've gotten into, may very well keep me away from the insane notion I've been toying with of trying to create a comm myself. I need my X-Men needs filled! This will definitely help! Thank you!
