Good to know that your mother is doing better than expected.

Well, at least you finished the RTO business in a day. :-)
Have fun driving!

LOL! I apparently passed. I'm not sure yet... and won't be until I have that license in my hand. ;)

Umm... Gautam Nagar? Near Yusuf Sarai?

::recalls vague mental image of Eicher City Map with Gautam Nagar::

BTW a shiny new passport need not always be a good thing to boast about. For example, if one gets a new passport after the old, worn passport with visas overflowing expired. :-)

Umm... Please don't tell me you memorized the Eicher City map?

I have nothing to say to you about the second thing. :P I was merely showing off my own shiny new (unused) passport. That is all. :P

Back to my favourite subject of TV. This question is to those of you who watch Veronica Mars. I just finished watching Season 1, and I gotta ask, does anything good happen to Logan? Like ever?!

Short answer? No. Long answer? ... No, wait, you know, "no", works there, too.

This saddens me. But is also roughly what chloeflynn told me this morning... *sigh* I need to stop watching angsty shows that get me all mildly upset. :P

You get upset because good things don't happen to nonexistent people? ;-)

...yeah. I tend to become a bit more involved with the characters in shows than is probably healthy. The very definition of fangirl. This surprises you, why?

Internships are good, and family connections can help you to get them. But anyways, they make it look like you have experience on your resume, which means you can get a better paying job when you get out of college/uni.

And ooo.... passport. I wonder if mine is any good. I hope so, I hate passport pictures and stuff. Not that I have immediate plans to go anywhere, but it's nice to have in case I want to be spontaneous or something.

But yeah... learner's permit tests sound similar here. Easy enough, but boring and dumb. I'm not convinced most drivers could pass them without skimming through our book of laws.

Pretty much the point, yeah. I bugged my dad for this project, and now that I've got it, I'm feeling all lazy. *sigh* I am one confused person.... But you already knew that. :P

Neat. I'm still bitter about that one trip to France years ago that did not happen because my passport did not arrive in time. Meh. Well, not really... but I still plan on going to Europe first chance I get.

People are running into that issue with the US passports right now. They're swamped 'cause they're starting to require them to come back from Canada and Mexico, which was not the case previously.

I had no clue about the laws either, but I passed. *shrug* I don't know anyone who failed our learner's test when they took it.

Holy crap and I thought that UK licences were a bunch of weirdness. *shakes head*

The theory bit is easy. It's the proper driving that's scary! *beep beep*
