You'd be like Heaven to touch

It had been a quiet morning, and Jean was taking a few moments for herself. A book that wasn't something related to school, some tea, and a comfy couch to curl up on.

And Scott would be home soon, and that would make it just about right.

Real soon, actually.

Roughly a half hour after Jean sat down, a road weary, but otherwise alive and well Scott Summers walked into the door. It was good to finally be home, after so much traveling and so much work.

"Jean!" he shouted through the boathouse as he set his bags down. Yes, he was married to a telepath, but he still liked communicating the old fashioned way.

She looks up at the sound and slips a bookmark in to mark her spot in the book. The book gets set down on a nearby table as Jean walks towards his voice. She'd sensed him mentally a few minutes ago, but there was something comforting about greeting him at the door.

Jean leans up against the doorframe leading into the foyer, smiling as she watches him straighten up. Having him back... made it more than just about right.

"You are a sight for sore eyes, mister."

He had to smile when saw her. How could he not?

"So are you."

He crossed the foyer trying not to seem like he was in a hurry, but he had really missed his wife.

She doesn't hesitate and meets him in the middle, wrapping her arms around him tightly.

"Missed you." Jean might just not let go of him, ever.
