It is a surprise to hear from you, but not at all an unpleasant one.

Kevin Ford, like many young mutants, is going through a very though time. Even more so, considering all the media attention given to his case. He can use all the support he can get.

However, while normally you, or any Avenger, New Warrior, et al, would be welcome here any time, due to the current social climate, we've had to greatly increase our security measures. That being said, we would be happy to arrange a meeting between you and Kevin. We only ask that you understand that his safety and security is of the highest priority.
