Luna was staring at a piece of paper. On it was the list. Or sort of. She wasn't sure where she wanted to go or what she wanted to do now, all things considered. She looked at the paper on her desk.

  1. Dracula's Palace
  2. The Center of the Earth MOLE PEOPLE YAY
  3. A beach with dolphins
  4. A volcano!!
  5. Visit Grandfather

Karnak has come to check on his young charge. His king and queen have given him the task of establishing a new study curriculum for the child in the hopes of attracting her insatiable curiosity in a more positive (and less destructive) direction.

He enters the room and observes the blonde head lowered on the desk.

Brows raised in inquiry, "I take it you are not entranced with the history assignment I gave you, young Cousin?"

Oh crud, she had some assignment thing she should've been doing. She had totally forgotten. Turning her head to face him she looked over at her Cousin.

"Which assignment was that?"

She couldn't let all this other stuff start messing up her homework and things. They'd suspect something.

It's a somewhat dry answer as her reply confirms his suspicion.

"The Kree-Skrull war, Luna, and the repercussions it had upon our society, Earth's, and countless others up to this very day. It is important for a future ruler of Attilan to know these things. History is important."

"I'll have it done tomorrow, promise," Luna said. And sat back in her chair now looking up at the ceiling. "I'm still... I mean.. I forgot. I'm sorry," she really couldn't make herself lie about it.

But she did hate history. It was so boring.

Crystal was glad that Luna had more to do, study-wise. A child needed to play sometimes, but she was fairly certain that Luna needed more of a challenge in school. Some children would do their lessons and then quietly entertain themselves with something else once they were finished if they found them easy and boring. Luna was not quite so...well-behaved. If Luna was bored, she got into a more interesting variety of trouble ( ... )

Luna was trying to work on the stupid history assignment about the stupid aliens beating each other up. She tried to smile at her mother, "No... I don't have any ideas yet..."

"Are you going to be coming too?"

"Well, I was thinking that it would be good for you both to have some father-daughter time alone for the first trip," said Crystal.

Some of this was just an excuse, but some of this was Crystal's honest opinion. Pietro had been gone so much that Luna really didn't know her father, and Pietro didn't know his little girl.

"But maybe I'll come for the second one."

Glancing over at her daughter's homework for a moment, she inquired, "How would you like to take a little break from your homework? We can go for a walk and talk about places you might like to go before you get back to it."

Oh, well, that would be kind of okay, she guessed. Just her and her Father. After all, if they both went all that would happen would be that they would fight.

Or her Father would just stand there and glare at her Mother. One day, she'd figure out what was up with that. It wasn't at all like Uncle Black Bolt and Aunt Medusa.

As for the homework break, any thing where she wasn't writing stupid papers on stupid aliens being stupid was good.

"Okay," Luna said while standing up and stretching. "I really don't have any good ideas though..." She wished she could talk to her mother about the other things. The things her Crazy Uncle was saying, but her Mother was on their side. Luna knew that much.
