Luna shrugged, "I like him, I mean, I do. But it's odd," she said, "He never really cared before, at least it didn't seem like that, and now he's staying here and when he thinks I'm being bad he tries to ground me or threatens to pain my room ugly colors. I liked him better when he we just had fun," she said.
He frowns. "Perhaps that's something you should think on for next time, Luna. We're getting closer to the Secret... but if I tell you, I'm no better than the Council, am I? Just like the council... telling people what to do, and then punishing people, when it's really them who are doing the bad things..."
"I'll figure it out. I know I will," Luna said, taking that in. So was it her father that was doing things wrong, she wondered. It was so weird still having him here.
"People shouldn't be punished when they're not being bad."
"No, they shouldn't... but they sometimes do," he says sadly. "Yes, they sometimes do. Speaking of which... you should go. Quickly now, before they see you and punish you. I don't want you punished. Because then you couldn't come visit anymore. And I'm growing fond of these little chats."
Excellent. Yes, yes. The girl should be returning soon, and will want another part of the Secret.
He looks at his empty bowl, considering it, then places it gently on his head.

"Aw. Why do you not like your father? It feels terrible to not get along with your family..."

She hoped it didn't make her bad.

"Remember, you'll need to wash your hair," Luna said sagely. "I'll be back. Should I bring you something next time I come?"
Like shampoo or soap.

Once she's gone, he begins to laugh...
