The Inhumans.

A digusting sort of society, Pietro finds himself accustomed to thinking. Yet it's where his daughter has spent most of her childhood, so there must be something worthwhile about it.

His ex-wife is not one of...

Luna always looked forward to when her father visited. Seven years old now (which in her own mind made so much difference over six!) she still didn't fully understand why he didn't come more often. She was sure that it had something to do with her, after all, what else could it be?

Knowing that her father was on his way, Luna watched from a window waiting by herself. For more reasons she didn't quite understand her father and her mother never seemed to get along very well. Or when they did it didn't seem real.

The second Luna caught sight of her Father she took off running towards him. "Father!" she called out happily. She was always glad to see him.

Pietro smiles - a rare sight these days - and he takes a knee to embrace her at her own height.

"Luna, my child," he says, with a warmth even she might not be accustomed to from him.

"It is so good to see you."

Luna hugs her father back and is a bit surprised at how he sounds when he greets her, but it makes her feel good to hear him greet her like that.

"I'm so happy you're here," Luna says smiling brightly, "How long will you be staying?" she asks, knowing he won't be staying permanently no matter how much she wishes he would. Or that she could at least go visit him more often.

He continues to hold his little girl tightly.

"A long while," is his response. The only other place he has to go right now is Avengers Mansion, and he is in no condition to serve, and he refuses to simply take up space there. This is the only place he can be of help to anyone.

"If the king will allow it."

Attilan is small and Quicksilver's arrival has gone unnoticed by none, save the alpha primitives dwelling beneath the city. An outsider has returned and for the Inhumans this always bear watching.

Karnak, in particular, watches now as father and daughter become reacquainted at the moment. Luna's enthusiasm over her father's attention is not one he wishes to disrupt, and so a politely reserved nod will greet Pietro should the man acknowledge him.

The nod is returned, and Pietro actually offers conversation rather than something brusque, as is his norm.

"Greetings. How fares the Royal Family, Karnak?"

"We fare peacefully as we always strive to." He puts a subtle emphasis on the second to last word. Pietro's relationship with Crystal has typically been an emotionally volatile one in the past, often spilling over to the former's dealings with the Royal Family.

Hopefully, that will not be the case this visit.

"Isolated as ever," Pietro adds with a nod. He does not, however, appear to have come for any sort of strife. Karnak's Terrigen gift, if it functions when gazing at a man's soul, might glean that his weak points are currently many.

In fact, being here with his daughter may be one of only two strengths he feels he has left.
