Business as usual (See: Paranoid)

She (they) had gotten out of the Null Room (and she's not talking about that). Nate had left (with her managing to not have to go into details about the Null Room). And there's been no word to the island with information about her mother and the others. Since trying to find some quiet time has become something of an ordeal for her, she decides to throw herself into work. Just let someone try to interupt that!

Two days, 3 personally sought reports, 5 clarifications, 10 hours of collective sleep and three folders of varying thickness later, she was standing outside the closed door to Erik's office. The folders were clutched tightly to her chest as she stared at the door, masking their link. It's only reports, Ray. Just go in, give them to him with their descriptions then leave. Quickly.

She takes a deep breath, reaching for the doorknob. ...right...

If the knob were locked, he'd want privacy. ...dammit... The knob turns freely and she goes in, pointedly looking at the top folder.

"Hello, Erik. I have some reports for you." She reaches the edge of his desk quickly and continues speaking regardless if he felt inclined to return her greetings.

"The statistics comparing the effectiveness of the living security staff from six weeks ago with the current staff. I think you'll be pleased." A thick folder is placed in front of him on his desk. She still hasn't looked up from the folders and the next is pulled out, her explanation given rapidly.

"The repairs on the breech in the wall of the government reception building are being observed, overseen and guarded. A poll of the tour groups that have been through that section of the complex since the breech indicates a minimal loss of confidence in security but an increase in confidence in the way the governmental body is handling intruders. Apparently, popular belief is that you were acting in some manner of defense of Genosha." She gives him a brief, bland look as she places the folder on top of the other one.

Once more she turns her attention to the final, and thinnest, folder, taking a breath to plow ahead.
