He's twitchy. He's always a little twitchy. That's life when you're a walking talking 10,000 volt death machine. How long has it been since he had a decent job? How long since he sat down in a restaurant for a good meal or spent the night in a soft, warm bed? Too long.
He'd like to be optimistic that this job will turn all that around. He'd like to believe that the promises made by this new prospective employer are not just more hollow words from yet another puffed-up psycho who's got a killer grudge and good resources. He'd like to believe that, but he's become something of a cynic.
He sits, twitching, and waits for the passionate speech with the sweeping assurances of great reward. At least he'll get some amusement out of this. Most of these supervillain types are pretty funny to watch when you get them going. He'd know. He's been one of them.
Dammit, THAT guy. He HATES electric guys. Especially twitchy electric guys. They always mess up the works.
When Creel shows up, Hydro-Man is more than happy to position himself behind the big bald bullethead, keeping him as a buffer from Electro. There's a chance he cound knock that stupid freak out first, though, but protection is good.
The back door opens and in walks a white haired fellow in a suit. Despite the stark whiteness of the fellow's locks, he appears to be no older than his mid twenties. He seems unsurprised by the presence of the trio.
In a voice that conveys casual confidence, he speaks. "Good afternoon Gentlemen. I trust that you are here for the job offer?"
"Man, why are they always trying to do that, anyway? We're businessmen, plain and simple."
He walks away from the corner, beefing up his 'tude in front of the potential money train. Standing with his arms crossed in that standard stone-faced manner.
"Indeed? Then it is thou who shalt lay thieving hands upon the Darkhold whilst I and thy companions divert attention with a frontal assault upon the Sanctum."
The rage in Max's eyes is clearly visible. He glares at Hydroman, wondering how quickly he could cause the guy to evaporate and wondering if the guy stays in control when he's turned to steam. These thoughts are coursing through his head as electricity arcs across his hands and body, "OK, you moron. We'll let you lead the charge." Max's face strikes a fiendish smile as he looks over to Creel.

With that, his thumbs-up sign turns into water, leaps to his other hand, and forms back into a thumbs up over there, too.
