Hello. Since nobody jumped all over you, I'll throw in my speculation. You obviously have a drive problem. Check with HP support to see what verification they need to warranty your drive. If they have to have receipts, then you might check where you purchased the drive. It may or may not be your only problem, but the drive is going to have to be replaced or repaired before you know if that's all or not.
