Hm? Oh, I'm not really doing all that much! I stayed put at Violet city for more than a week, trying to get money for supplies and other things. And my Pokémon aren't really all that strong either. I couldn't even beat the first Gym Leader.

Ah, no. They aren't bothering me in the least. I'm more worried about them following me to places with stronger Pokémon and getting hurt. [He will never forgive himself if that happens.]

I certainly didn't expect that Gym to be so tough. Since it's the first one, I guess I underestimated it a little. [Despite that, he's smiling. Why, he'll have other chances to challenge Falkner.]

Hmm... That's true. I was training a lot to try and beat that first gym, so my Pokémon are kind of pretty fit right now.

And I hope they do! I mean, it wouldn't be good if I disrupted their day-by-day lives or something. [He had a similar talk about this not too many days ago.]

Ah, yes. I've read that they seem to have a lot of static electricity on their furs. Might not be the best idea, now that I think about it.

Well, still can't complain much, since they aren't really attacking me or anything. They just seem a little bit enthralled by me, for some reason. [Although, Jesus kind of can imagine why...]
