Harry Bosch arrests a triad member for a murder in LA, and gets warned off - and then his daughter, living with her mother in Honk Kong, is kidnapped. Thanks! That's one of the few Harry Bosch novels I haven't read, so I'll definitely track it down on your recommendation. Sounds like he's changing the formula a bit - in the earlier books (all enjoyable!) it almost always seemed to be some corrupt policeman wot done it.

Yes, there was too much of that. This one is much more an actioner than a policier.
