ok, wait. Are they really going to kill off Sunstreaker in the comic? I mean..I know his head is detached and all but I've been hoping and praying that Ratchet will put him back together once he's found. >.> I'm kinda dreading your answer. *worried*

Not exactly 'kill him off'. He will 'merge' with Hunter as his Headmaster. Basicaly Hunter will become Sunstreaker's head, and their personality will merge or something like that. I am not exactly sure -what- will happen to Sunny's real head and personality/spark, but Furman stated it'll be cannon Hunter will be Sunny's new head.

The concerns of the fans were mainly about how this would affect Sideswipe and their twin relationship, especially since Simon Furman seems to consider -at least according to his answers to some questions posed by fans- their brotherhood is more of a 'very close friendship' than an actual equivalent of a biological/spiritual connection.

And along with those concerns comes how much of Sunstreaker will be left once Hunter becomes Sunny's headmaster, and his relationship with Sideswipe. I don't know what'll exactly happen to sunny's head. All I know is that Hunter WILL become his headmaster and fight as Sunstreaker from now on.

I will have to wait and see how Furman will handle the whole thing, but I've never been too fan of how Furman deals with the TF universe. *stays happily huddled in the goodness of Dreamwave*<3

I tried to at least give them some degree of reunion on this because I couldn't bring myself to leave Sideswipe like that. DX

Good story, though the fact that with the last Mosaic Sunny is determined to be a Headmaster makes me very, very sad... Somehow I hoped till the last that he'll make it out somehow *cries*

Thank you. Yeah I'm not exactly sure how far or where Furman intends to take the headmaster concept and he plans to do with Sunny's head. But then again I'm not that much into IDW's stories. I really dislike the way he writes Prowl and I'm not too fan of his Ratchet either xD;

I am truly upset with the IDW story line. I hate what theyve done to Sunstreaker. I think I was happier when he was a background charcter the higher ups didnt give a frag about so we could develop him and Sideswipe. Simon Furman has severly pissed me off. He miss understands Sunny and Sides completely. He sure does not deserve the title "Mr. Transformer".

You, however, have easied my pain somewhat. This is lovely and reaffirming. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for writting what I have thought of but could never put it words. I look forward to more good things from you.

I believe several people are on your boat right now. I don't think Mr. Furman has any idea of how many fans Sunstreaker and Sideswipe really have -or he does and is a sadist or something.

If it's any consolation you can always look back at the dreamwave comics XD;; Sunny is pretty damn well alive and kicking on that one -literaly on the kicking part.

Yeah. Well, he WAS a human. He's a headmaster now -basicaly like a cyborg by now that can transform into the head of a robot.
