Imperium Cybertronium Mirage

Been playing around with styles and experimenting. This is far from perfect but I like it. This would be Mirage in his IC incarnation clad on his hunting attire. This was taking shape as I was painting it so there's a lot of mistakes but I liked the final effect. This version of Mirage is so much better than the one in the cartoon. Seriously. I think it befits his character as a noble more. Very sleek and smooth. Utterly Mirage.

And his amber optics are such a win.

I think the cartoon streamlined him quite a bit, he was bulkier otherwise. But I will admit I like his cybertronian mode a lot more. XD

Amber optics on Mirage are absolute win.<3

Oh I just LOVE these! I love the painterly style you used for the top picture...Hound will never be able to resist him XD

I like the way you draw his helm too...Alternator's style.

I really had a lot of fun playing with that painterly style, so I'll likely be trying it again. :D Oh, Hound's gonna love staring at that painting me thinks.

Yeah, I've always liked the antennae of his alternators helmet. Somedays I'm really tempted to just make it completely alternators like but I like the egyptian feel of his G1 cartoon helmet, too. @w@
