That was beautiful. It was very sweet and i can see Jazz getting into that tradition. I really liked the end. It almost had me in tears.

The end was an after thought but since this year we're getting another soul to visit for our ofrenda I thought it would be fitting to add that little bit. Glad you liked it.

I don't get to read or post lately because I'm so busy, but this one made me stop for a minute. It was unique in the fact that it goes off the beaten, more cliched path of Halloween traditions (I LOVE this one because its close to how my own family celebrates Halloween)to show practices just as important to other cultures, and is both vibrant and loving. Very nicely written.

I wanted to attempt to go with other routes that involve the season/theme, especially since I am mexican and this is the way we truly celebrate our departed (especially being so close to the standard Halloween I felt it fitting) and I wanted to share that.
