Oh I loved that! It was lovely to see the first interactions between Prowl and Jazz. Poor little Jazz had a rough start, but it's only gotten better since Ironhide picked him up (and will continue to get better - hint) lol
I hope Meister and Solstace are still alive. Did they have any more offspring?
Oh, I love this little back story for Jazz. It shows that not all slaves are lucky to get a kind master. I'll also add my own voice about wanting to know if Meister is alright and will Jazz ever be reunited with his creators again.
I swear I never expected people to want to see more of Meister and Solstice in IC after this. I'm glad you liked the backstory, and yes, Prowl was so cute, being gentle to Jazz even though he was afraid Ratchet and Ironhide would forget about him in favor of Jazz.
And I'm with the others who want Meister and Solstice to pop up again. >_> I actually had some ideas for that, but I'll refrain from posting here. Wouldn't wanna ruin anything you've already got.
Weeeeeeeeeeell, the first idea was that after they became an item, Prowl and Jazz sought them out for a brief reunion and to let them know that their little sparkling survived and thrived.
The second idea I had was that if Prowl and Jazz ever intented to be Joined, as a present to Jazz, Prowl went to search them down and convince their master to let them go see the ceremony, but the only way Prowl was able to get his way was to buy them. ...However, the more I thought about this idea, the more I didn't like it. Jazz would feel very awkward ordering his parents around and having them be his slaves.
The third idea, kinda similar to the second, was that one of the other families they're close to (like the Lambo family, or Red Alert, or the Valkyre family) unwittingly bought Meister and Solstice, and Jazz runs into them while visiting.
Lol You don't need to use these, but maybe they'll inspire you at some point? *hopeful look*

I loved this backstory, and I really liked it when Prowl was so gentle with Jazz that first night, and teaching Jazz how to read was win.
