They say - at least I think some of them do - that writing, of any kind, is largely about sitting down and getting it done, whether you feel "inspired" or not. Getting the job done. It's time, I think, to get the job of telling y'all about the trip to Istanbul done, because this is getting slightly silly.

So now I've been here a week. Leaving tomorrow. The big report of the trip will have to wait a while, if I write it, and it will probably be written  a bit at a time and be published over a few weeks. At least I have some notes for it.
