Songs of Martin H. Olsson - Part 5 (and probably the last for a while)

After this I'll have to think of something new to post, as I've run out of pop-songish things in English. This one I have sometimes imagined as sung by Björk (Hmm... so they use <ö> in Iceland, not <ø>. I should probably have known. Still, I wouldn't have guessed it.) Marked as "reconstruction" on sockerdricka.nu, like the last one.

No thunder

In the reality in which I am today
there is no thunder
and, surprisingly, I find it kind of nice
I float through white, through grey, through pastel color
I think some thoughts that
I have thought before...

But once upon a time, there was thunder
There were earthquakes,
lions roaring in the night,
but the Universe got tired of the roaring
and a Universe sometimes
controls itself...

In the reality in which I am today
there are no bass tones
so music mostly quite peculiar is...

no thunder, the songs of martin h. olsson, icelandic
