As long as I have things to recycle here (thus saving time), things I am actually proud of (more or less), I won't be ashamed of doing so. So here's a song I wrote in 8th grade, on a bicycle trip to Denmark with my school:
A Doubtful Man's Confession
I hear
Strange whispers in the rain
filled with anger and pain
They tell me to destroy
all the evil in this world
But the evil is part of myself.
I see
Tender sweetlips high above
They tell me to kiss them with love
I try to but they drift away
'cause mostly love is just a poet's way
to express what he dreams the world was like.
But
sometimes I feel
one day love will rule the world
That day I will kneel
to a good Lord I don't believe in
and then he'll reveal
those great wise eyes I don't believe in
and so I will pray
to a Great Lord I don't believe in
and then he will say...
'Stand up, and your sins shall be forgiven.'

Bloody hell, I just don't get formatting on lj. It just won't work, or at least not in a reasonable way!
