I was inspired by edith_jones and her beautiful new layout to check out premade_ljs , and I found the perfect new layout for my journal. (Actually, I found a bunch of perfect layouts, so I will probably try some others out in due time!) ya know what? I have a free account now and I don't think I can put these on. The picture tutorial links don't show up on my journal anymore or they are different. UGH!

You know, it took me a while to figure it out, because the pictures are different. I had to write down the steps, and browse all over the place to find approximations. But it did work out in the end. For one, there is no place to choose S2 layouts, and there isn't a place with a drop-down for "smooth sailing" layout, you have to do a search. You do have to join the community first though. But I think anyone can use them.

I update mine fairly often, but I lead a fairly boring life. Little things get me excited!

WOO! I've been sitting here HOURS fucking around with layouts. OMG, thanks for that! (ha)

So some of those didn't take at all or looked messed up, and some I just didn't love the layout of (but they are so pretty!). So I went Googling for LJ layouts and came across "refuted". Some really simple nice ones. CHECK MINE OUT! :)

I love it! It matches your eye!

It's weird, because last night, my home page was right, but my friend's page was off-kilter. Today, everything is aligned right. Go figure. Now, is "refuted" a style, or a community? I like the clean/simple look.

I guess I am anything but clean/simple? (You know that meme where people name friend's listers that fit a certain image? I got named as "girly" by three separate people, who don't even know each other. Maybe I come across as frilly and fruu-fruu. I don't know!)

Refuted is a community...sorry, I don't know how to link it. :) But she has some really nice ones, simple and clean and easy to apply...a few pages, too (I found mine on the second page so didn't go searching more).

I wouldn't call you girly, but I don't know you that well. It's not an insult but it's funny that 3 unrelated peeps would peg you as such.
