Magic Moment

There is about one week every Spring when I can go into my backyard in the early evening and smell the lilac bushes in bloom.

Tonight is such a night!  When I went to move the cars, as I got out of the one parked in back, I smelled the lilac scent in the soft Spring air, and all seemed right....  :)

Oh that is most grand! And so it's nice that you were able to enjoy such a moment. Figure little observations and the like tend to make such moments stand out and mean the most.

(Personally, though, I'm waging a war with all flowers, for this has been a horrible allergy season. Most certainly!)

ah.. I know what you mean.. just outside my bedroom window there is a tall white lilac tree in bloom. Last night I cut some bluebells and brought them into the house. They have such a beautiful fragrance - it filled the whole house. Just one little bunch!

We won't see lilac blossoms for weeks yet, but I know what you mean--for that brief time, their scent is heavenly!

Oh that sounds so lovely.

We have jasmine every where right now. It's a bit heavy at times, but I still love it. In the gloaming, is my most favorite time of day.
